Conanicut Communications was founded in 1997 by Bruce Crabtree and incorporated in October 1999. Before becoming involved in web site design and development, Bruce worked in book publishing, performing editorial and production work. Conanicut Communications still does work for Houghton Mifflin Company, the Boston-based book publisher, creating content for web sites to accompany college textbooks. We have created web sites for a country inn, art galleries, a fiberoptics market research company, a leather goods manufacturer, a marketing site, and a real estate appraisal board, among others.
